ONE COMPUTER PER CHILD IDEOLOGY

  INTRODUCTION
When i was a kid date some 20 years ago, the best punishment to be given to me for any uncalled for action was to lock me up in my room so that i will be very bored as i will have nothing to play with and that will instill some moral lessons into my brain. However, the case is not the same today as giving  a child the same punishment is like sending him to " paradise" because now he has a play station, iPad, iPod, note book, and lots more to play with. How time changes!.

ONE CHILD PER COMPUTE

We are going to examine this hypothesis from two perspectives. A common saying in English goes thus,"Behind a silver lining there is a cloud", here what do i mean?. This is to say that in life everything has its own good and bad attributes. like wise the provision of a computer per child will equally have its own merits and demerits and is from here that we are going to examine the merits and demerits arising as a result of providing a child with a computer.Scientists are conducting studies on the impact of computer games in person, children argue with parents, parents – with teachers, and so on.However we are not disusing about computer games here but for the fact the it has to deal with personal computer then it is valid in here.children and computer

MERITS/ADVANTAGES
Almost every home, office, or school has a computer of some kind these days. It may seems at first that having a computer brings only benefits, but further consideration shows that it also has disadvantages.

First of all computers are very useful at school. It helps students to revise for tests or exams and makes subjects more interesting. Pupils can also learn new vocabulary and dramatic structures.

Furthermore it allow students to become familiar with operating a computer and gain basic computer skills.
What is more people can save a lot of time by using a computers. This is especially beneficial in the workplace where employees can do their work faster than they could in the past.

DEMERITS/DISADVANTAGES
On the other hand, computers have creates so much negative impact as well. I tend to agree that young children can be negatively affected by too much time spent on the computer every day. This is partly because sitting in front of the screen for too long can be damaging to both the eyes and the physical posture of a young   child, regardless of what they are using the computer for.

Well the biggest disadvantage is threats from FACEBOOK offenders and pornographic another inappropriate websites. TWITTER offenders use websites like Myspace and Facebook to lure teenagers to secret locations or they slowly figure out were the teen lives until they know for certain.

CONCLUSION.
Providing children with computer is not a condition sine qua non that they are going to be wayward. It will on depend on the strict supervision of the children by the parents guiding the child through the right path as far as computer programs are concern. There is no way that we can escape from technological advancement, the moment we stop; then we will liable to extinction. So the best means to prevent this is to give our children access to the computer as is the backbone of all technological innovations.Childhood is the best stage in a human being's life that he can learn best because it is at this stage in life were our brains develop rapidly, metabolism highest, and we are at our apex of understanding fundamental concepts.
